AUTEL | SUBSCRIPTIONS AND LICENSES

To successfully activate any Autel SGW or SFD access package (such as FCA SGW, Renault Gateway, VW SFD, or the EU SGW package), you will need the following:

- Compatible Autel Device: Your diagnostic tablet must support the specific SGW/SFD function you're activating. Compatibility varies by feature.
- Serial Number: The unique serial number of your Autel device. This is required to bind the license to your unit.
- Registered Autel Account: The tool must be registered on Autel’s official system (via the website or MaxiSys app).
- Active Software Subscription: Your device must have an up-to-date software license. Expired subscriptions must be renewed before activation.
- Internet Connection: The tablet must be connected to Wi-Fi to receive and synchronize the license.

Once activated (usually within 2–4 business days), your Autel device will unlock secure gateway access (e.g., FCA SGW, Renault, VW SFD), enabling full diagnostics including live data, coding, and active tests.

- During checkout, enter your Autel device’s serial number in the order comments section.

Most licenses are activated within 2–4 business days.
