The IXXAT USB to CAN FD Compact is a single channel CAN FD interface from HMS Networks designed for straightforward and cost efficient connection between a PC and CAN or CAN FD bus networks. With a galvanically isolated CAN FD channel via D-SUB 9 connector and USB Type A connection at 480 Mbit/s, it handles data rates up to 8 Mbit/s with high throughput and minimal latency, making it a reliable choice for testing, development, maintenance and control tasks in both industrial and automotive environments.

High precision on board timestamping ensures accurate data tracking across the network, while galvanic isolation protects against overvoltage and potential electrical damage. The Ixxat VCI driver package supports multiple fieldbuses and allows easy switching between different PC interface types without adapting application software, with driver packages available as a free download for Windows (VCI), Linux (ECI) and real time operating systems on request.
