USB-to-CAN FD Automotive

The IXXAT USB to CAN FD Automotive is a versatile and cost efficient CAN FD interface from HMS Networks that combines two galvanically isolated CAN FD channels and one LIN channel in a single compact device. It connects to a PC via USB 2.0 Hi-Speed at 480 Mbit/s and supports CAN FD data rates up to 8000 kBit/s, making it well suited for both modern automotive development environments and industrial CAN network applications.

Each CAN FD channel supports three switchable operating modes including ISO CAN FD, non ISO CAN FD and CAN High-Speed, giving engineers the flexibility to work across different network configurations without changing hardware. The two CAN channels connect via RJ45 sockets and two RJ45 to D-SUB 9 adapter cables of 20 cm are included for quick connection.

Programming interfaces are available for Windows (VCI), Linux (ECI) and real time operating systems on request, allowing flexible integration across different development environments.
